A compact Japanese tabako-bon, the traditional tray or stand used to hold the implements associated with smoking a kiseru pipe.

This example combines a wooden body with metal fittings and retains the practical compartmented form associated with domestic tobacco equipment. The earlier Yamazakura catalogue described it as Shōwa period; that dating is retained here as the previous attribution rather than presented as independently established.
