Imperial Japanese Navy officer’s dirk, retaining its characteristic naval-style mounts.

The surviving Yamazakura catalogue record gives no secure manufacture date, individual officer provenance or maker attribution, so none is asserted here. The photographs should be consulted closely for the condition and construction of the mounts and blade.

A representative piece of Imperial Japanese naval sidearm material suitable for a specialist military or Japanese arms collection.
