Japanese wooden display stand accompanied by a group of seven chawan (tea bowls).

The tiered stand is arranged to display the bowls individually and forms a decorative presentation associated with Japanese tea wares. The bowls vary in glaze and form, as shown in the photographs.

The earlier Yamazakura listing described the group as a tea-cup stand with a selection of chawan. No individual kiln, potter, period or tea-school attribution is asserted here without further supporting evidence.

Offered as the complete display group shown in the photographs. Please examine the images carefully for the condition and individual character of the bowls and stand.
