Group of seven Japanese clay military figures representing a range of army and naval subjects.

The set includes figures previously catalogued as a bugler, an officer holding a guntō, a senior naval officer, a naval shore-patrol rating, two infantrymen and a mounted cavalry officer.

The earlier Yamazakura catalogue associated the group with the Second World War. This is retained as the previous catalogue dating rather than presented as independently verified manufacture date. No maker or workshop is attributed.

Condition was previously recorded as good; the photographs form part of the condition record.
